Sheltered Sand
Sheltered Sand

Camera: Canon 60D
Lens: Canon EF-S 18 – 135mm
Focal Length: 135mm
ISO: 200
Aperature: 5.6f
Shutter Speed: 1/60 sec

I found this strange scene in a sand pile after a hard rain.  The sand had been washed away everywhere but where rocks had protected it.  Was difficult to get a crisp shot because I took it freehand in low light which being attacked by flies but I think it still turned out pretty neat!
