Another picture of rain drops!  I like how clear everything is in this picture and how deep the purple and green are.  I imagine that there will be many more photos which contain raindrops as spring is now fully upon us!

  1. I, too, like the deep colors of the green and purple – which are not actually deep in terms of dark (note the contrast with the background) but are bright in terms of color intensity and light- to mid-value in terms of value against the darker, neutral background. Amazing, isn’t it? I also like the texture that the raindrops give here. Nice job getting one clear flower with hints of other flowers and (on closer inspection) purple reflections on the leaves! I think it’s this hint of purple through the shot that ties it together. And for something that we know stays still, the leaves pointing in every direction give a sense of movement. I’m liking the shot more as I study it. Nice job on this one!

Let me know what you think!
