Day Sixty Two

Camera: Canon 60D
Lens: Canon EF-S 18-135mm
Focal Length: 135mm
ISO: 200
Aperture: 13.0f
Shutter Speed: 1/160 sec

Was tricky to get this photo, the conch was stuck in a rock right where the bay meets the sea and the waves kept trying to push me and my kayak into the rocks.  I had to make sure to protect my camera from the salt water, not crash and try to get close enough to get the shot!

  1. Those little creatures can sure hold on tight! Glad you could hang on to your gear and get a photo too – maybe it would be easier (but not as much fun) to walk to the rocks? You did well to be able to focus while staying afloat.

Let me know what you think!
