Day Twenty Nine

I took this picture and others you will see in the days to come while on a hike in the woods.  The red leaves stood out against the dead leaves in the background.  I would much rather have had a background of snow but alas mother nature doesn’t seem to want to release any of the white stuff this year.  Anyway hope you enjoy the vibrant colors of winter!

  1. You may be wishing for snow, but you’ve caught some nice contrast with the washed-out colors of the dead leaves in the background. While snow would have been a great contrast, this lesser contrast makes for a quiet, peaceful picture, nicely composed.

Let me know what you think!
